Pizza Fritte day

Well, today I get to teach Tristan's class about Italy and I'm pretty excited about it!  I get to tell them about my Gramps (T's GG) and all about my beloved country that SOMEDAY I WILL visit!

So... I bought a book for kids, will be giving some facts and a special treat!  PIZZA FRITTE!

Instead of just sugar, I tossed in some green and red sprinkles (flag colors!)

Then, prepped the dough

got the oil all heated  up

and began the frying!  YUM!

My house smelled SO good and I didn't eat one.

Let's hope they like them (room temp)
