ICE! and snow tubing fun

We met the Jones' (and Bella) at the Gaylord to see ICE!  We've never been and thought we ought to at least once!

We knew it would be cold but YIKES! 

at least there were fun things like this ice slide!

and the awesome ice igloo!!

we ventured out to the lobby to run and play

and of course be silly

we mastered silly

and then...snow tubing!  For Texas kids (that rarely see snow) - this is a blast! I did it too and have to say it was VERY fun!

We tried, we failed but it was still fun!

It was a beautiful (and VERY windy day)

T wanted to fly his kite that he picked out of the prize box.

He loved it!

oops! He let go of the handle and it flew on top of the school

we chased it but that thing flew and then got stuck

It was too windy to fly that one today but I'm pretty sure T had a blast!

Steiners... they're baaaaaack

Well, thankfully God healed me of whatever dreaded illness I have so Deb and her crew were able to come over!!

Simba was QUITE happy to see Aunt Deb...

And while the kids didn't remember us (or each other)

they warmed right up and smiled for pics!

We decided to do a bestie selfie... and then the creeper jumped in

These two slowly remembered each other...

and fell right back into being buddies again

Then Seth... well Seth found the water guns and Leah just laughed and laughed...
